Labor Day Weekend

I need to be cleaning the house.

But it's so much more fun to sit on the front porch and read the Sunday paper with Luci and Rocky.

I love three day weekends.

Update

Got a new job. I'll be closer to home starting on July 1.

Old job was just too much for me. Supposed to work 37-1/2 hrs. a week but averaged 42 to 45. Add to that a 45 minute commute and gas at $4.09/gallon.

Hubby's fishing rod repair business is taking off. Went to a fishing expo and got lots of leads. Whoo hoo.

Trying to decide which blog site to keep up . . . Spaces, Blogger, or Word Press . . .

Yard Sale

Hubby and I survived the first day of the yard sale. We started setting out stuff at 0 dark hundred. First customer arrived at 7 something - and the sale wasn't supposed to start until 9. We had to finish early because of sprinkles.

Blacky was stressed with all the people coming into his yard. Luci wanted to visit with everyone.

We had a good turn out even though it was a tad on the cool side. I spent the day freezing.

I think I may need a nap before supper.

Oh, and there's two more days of the yard sale.

Heaven help me.

Happy Birthday To Me

Yes, it's my birthday. Hubby took me out to dinner. We went to Cracker Barrell and I had the meatloaf with the strawberry shortcake for dessert. What can I say . . . I'm a simple girl with simple tastes. Besides they have the best meatloaf . . . ever. . .

Tried to take Luci for a walk but she heard firecrackers and wouldn't go anywhere near them. Poor little thing, I'll be glad when this holiday is over. She was so excited to go out with Mommy until she heard them. Then she couldn't get back to the house fast enough.

Now I'm going to sit on the couch and watch TV with Hubby . . .

Life is good.

What Happened???

Okay, I have no idea what's going on with my MSN website. I can't get into my own blog, but I can get into everybody else's . . . .

Hopefully it's just a quirk that will fix itself tomorrow.

I found out why I've been so tired lately. I thought it was the new job making me tired. Turns out that I'm a little anemic. Guess I have to break out the Geritol.

First bifocals, then hormone patches . . . now Geritol.

Did I mention my 44th birthday is next week?

Okay . . . . I'm gonna see how this plays out. I'm a little frustrated with MSN, but never seriously considered switching. But I'm seeing a lot of my buddies going elsewhere and I might need to look into the possibility . . .
